ADAM BUTCHER – BIO

PIANO

Hey! I’m Adam Butcher. I began taking piano lessons when I was in kindergarten and almost quit when I was 9 (but I’m glad I didn’t!). I earned my RCM Grade 8 when I was 16 and have loved music all my life. I enjoy playing the piano for services at my church and for wedding services for friends and relations.

While I mainly play the piano, I also play the trombone and taught myself (and a number of students) how to play the ukulele while teaching elementary school music. I am currently a classroom teacher in Hagersville and appreciate the opportunity to share my love of music with the students at Lupton Street Studios.

I love helping students use the arts to express themselves and make connections to the world around them through the songs that they play.

Carrie Verbinnen – Bio

PIANO, MINI MUSICIANS, PRESCHOOL MUSIC

Hello! My name is Carrie and I’m excited to share my passion for music here at Lupton Street Studios!

I grew up with lots of opportunity to explore music through piano, voice and various instruments and earned my RCM Grade 8 in 2008. My love for kids led me to teaching and I taught in an elementary school until having children of my own. That being said, I’m truly an old soul and find nothing more relaxing than having a cup of tea and working on a crocheted hat or blanket out in my backyard.

I believe that time spent in any of the arts can bring out amazing qualities in any person and can’t wait to see what journeys my students will explore!

Debi Gregan – Bio

PIANO, VOCAL, MUSICAL THEATRE, PAINTING

My name is Debi Lupton Gregan, owner and director of Lupton Street Studios. Teaching music to students of every imaginable age, level and ability is serious business, and it’s what I do for fun!

I began teaching around age 17 while working on my Grade 9 Royal Conservatory Exam. In 1993, I moved to Jarvis and opened my home studio, where I have been teaching ever since. In June 2017, our first commercial studio space was opened here in town. My students love their lessons, and I absolutely LOVE to teach them!  Creativity, motivation, inspiration, compassion, patience, and kindness, are all things you can count on at your lessons.
