Lupton Street Studios is now accepting applications for Music and Art Instructors for the 2026–2027 teaching year.

Piano and/or Vocal Instructor

We’re looking for enthusiastic, skilled instructors who are passionate about music education and making a positive impact in the lives of students.

Ideal candidates will have:

• Strong playing and performance skills
• Experience accompanying singers and instrumentalists
• Proficiency in rhythm, sight-reading, and music theory
• The ability to incorporate engaging off-the-bench learning activities
• Excellent relationship-building and communication skills

You are comfortable teaching students of all ages, levels, and abilities in both private lessons and group classes (instrument instruction, introductory music programs, workshops, and more). Experience teaching a variety of musical styles is an asset.

We’re seeking instructors who are:

• Adaptable and able to think on their feet
• Friendly, positive, and easy-going
• Organized and reliable
• Passionate about helping students grow in confidence, creativity, and skill

Applicants must have reliable transportation, and have (or be able to obtain) a vulnerable sector criminal record check.  References will also be required.
