Hope you are all enjoying your summer so far. It has been great to see some of your faces at the studio 🙂 I thank you all very much for your quick response in submitting the “Intent for Fall” forms. I am putting the finishing touches on the schedule, and will have that to you soon – I believe I was able to accommodate everyone’s scheduling requests – YAY!

So what does this mean for existing families? Music lessons for existing students will continue in the same format and with the same tuition installments and payments options as last year, PLUS we are also offering complimentary benefits of a creative membership to every student! Membership details for existing families will follow soon.
The following section has been added to our studio policies. Please take a read through and let me know of any questions or comments. I very much value your feedback.
MISSED LESSONS and NEW MEMBERSHIP BENEFITS
Beginning September 2026, students enrolled in private and deluxe music lessons will receive a complimentary Creative Membership in our year-round music and arts community which includes weekly lessons and additional benefits, as part of their tuition package.
Tuition now includes these additional membership benefits that provide value throughout the year. These benefits may include weekly group classes, workshops, access to studio events, special activities, and other opportunities.
Tuition reserves a student’s lesson time from September to May, and supports participation in the broader Lupton Street Studios creative community. As such, tuition is not reduced, credited, or refunded for occasional missed lessons due to illness, instructor absences, scheduling conflicts, studio closures, weather events, vacations, holidays, etc.
This will save Deb an enormous amount of admin time so she can focus on creating new programs and opportunities for our students 🙂
That being said – we will still do our best to try to accommodate requests, where we can. If you are going to miss your lesson, please notify the studio as soon as possible, so that your lesson time can be offered to another student and we can add you to the list, should a lesson time become available. No shows with no notice, will not be eligible for any accommodations.
Complimentary Creative Membership benefits are provided as part of the overall value of membership in our learning community and are subject to change throughout the year.
