DEBI GREGAN

My name is Debi Lupton Gregan, owner and director of Lupton Street Studios. Teaching music to students of every imaginable age, level and ability is serious business, and it’s what I do for fun! I began teaching around age 17 while working on my Grade 9 Royal Conservatory Exam. In 1993, I moved to Jarvis and opened my home studio, where I have been teaching ever since. In June 2017, I opened the commercial studio space in Main St. , where we offer all sorts of music programs.  My students love their lessons, and I absolutely LOVE to teach them!  Creativity, motivation, inspiration, compassion, patience, and kindness, are all things you can count on at your lessons.

Hi! My name is Seleah and teaching at Lupton Street Studios is something I really love. I have been playing piano for around 11 years, and it is one of my absolute favorite things to do! I am currently in Grade 8 RCM, and hope to do my Grade 8 exam in the near future. I really enjoy teaching my students and helping them see the joy that music can bring!

MELANIE GAUTHIER

My name is Melanie and I am the “Crazy Cat Lady”. My passions in life are creativity and the arts, and sharing that passion with others. I received my Grade 10 RCM in piano many years ago. After working in a school setting for 20 years as a social and cultural activity organizer, I am so looking forward to putting all of this experience to good use. I will help you explore your creative side through music, drama, arts, and so much more. My belief is that playing is learning, and learning is playing, so let’s have fun and grow together!

ADAM LIEFL

GUITAR, UKULELE, GROUP JAMS

Hey hey! I’m Adam, a professional radio & TV host, voiceover artist, actor, MC, musician and songwriter. The art of performance – for work or fun – is what lights me up. The only thing greater is opening up the door for others to unleash their inner performer! Along with my media career, I began teaching guitar casually when I was in college and later carried it into my own part-time business. I also write songs, perform solo and in a super hip band called The Shrubberies. As an actor, I’ve performed at Lighthouse Theatre, Simcoe Little Theatre, and co-wrote/performed an outdoor walking theatre production called “The Witch Doctor of Walsingham.” I’ve also been on film in the comedy shorts “The Rebeccas” and the TVO Documentary “A Desert Between Us & Them.” And I was the quiet kid growing up. Everyone has a little performer in them!

Hi there, I’m Tom McConnell and I’m happy to be joining the Lupton Street Music team. I have been playing guitar for more than 12 years. My background is classical guitar, but I’m mostly experienced in rock and heavy metal. I’m excited to pass on my knowledge to others and help students achieve their music goals!

LINDA MARIE

YOGA, YES 1-2, RYT 200

Linda has a laid back, non-conforming approach to teaching. The classes are filled with love, light and laughter; this makes the class fun and you leave feeling cheerful and accomplished. She holds disciplined, yet fun kids classes, incorporating body awareness through breath and meditation with some energetic team building exercises to keep the class entertaining for the little ones!

I received my training at East to West Yoga in Toronto completing 350 hours, including YES 1 and 2 (Yoga Exercise Specialist) certification. Strength, balance and breath will free your mind of any burdens you may have, its hard to think of anything when you’re trying to keep yourself from falling over!

HEATHER PIETTE

I am a Recreation Therapist who studied Gerontology and Music at McMaster University. I am experienced in planning and facilitating programs geared for the senior population and enjoy sharing my skills and talents with the community. I have a variety of interests such as playing flute, piano, and guitar, visual arts and crafts, dance, creative writing, and so much more.
